LocalJobsForAll.com

LocalJobsForAll is a new website that claims to help people find jobs within their local communities. All you need to do is provide them with your basic contact information and they will give you a list of job openings in your area.

While LocalJobsForAll.com compiles the job openings in your area, you will be given a list of promotional and informational offers to choose from. These offers are optional and entirely up to you if you choose to participate.

However, these offers are not just friendly, promotional opportunities. If you answer yes to any of these questions, Local Jobs for All will provide your contact information to third party companies.

In general, this means that your contact information – email and home addresses, as well as phone number – will be sold to advertisers and used to contact you. In addition, by using LocalJobsForAll.com as a job finder service, you waive your membership to the Do Not Call registry.

Because of their partnership with other companies, LocalJobsForAll is free to use and will cost you no out of pocket fees.

  • This is annoying. I can't stand the multiple calls in one day, over 22 calls. How do I get rid of this nightmare? Please, please advice.
    • I'd say tell them to smoke a giant peace pipe, etc, and other choice insults until they don't want to call you anymore.
  • Tired of them sending me emails with jobs I don't want. Didn't sign up with them. Don't want emails from them 2 3xs a day. Don't know how you got my email. Can't find the unsubscribe or I would. I'm gonna keep trying to find it though. Really really irritating.
  • I am very upset with this job site. The only thing it is good for is giving your information to other sites. I can't wait to unsubscribe. this is a bunch of bull.
  • This site gave me several job openings in my area. I filled at app online and they sent me a text with a phone number to call them. They verified basic info the turned to furthering my education. I said I was not interested in the offer and they hung up on me. I went to these businesses that I filled out apps for and they told me no such jobs were being offered. SCAM SCAM SCAM
  • I got an e-mail from these people. Since I had lost track of which job search sites I had signed up on, I thought it was one of them. The e-mail said my resume' matched an employer that was hiring.

After getting to the site, and finding out it wasn't one I'd already signed up for, I thought I'd give it a try. What was stated above is true. If you answer yes to any of the questions, another window opens for you to sign up on another site. I ignored them all. When I finally got to the part where it said it could find me a job near Phoenix, AZ, "just click next"..I cracked up laughing, and unsubscribed immediately.

If they are unable to tell the difference between a zip code from Oklahoma and one from Arizona..it's highly doubtful they could find me a job.
  • My opinion of most job search sites, as well as the hiring process in general, is that it's a big scam. I am a pharmacist who has been laid off for 1 1/2 years. I have applied to at least 50 different locations with only 5 interviews(usually after I call 4-6 times in 3 weeks. 1 person has given a non generalized answer. The so-called job search sites are similar. I don't have 5 months to befriend someone in HR to get a job(1 scam-you should not have to be buddies with anyone in the hiring process or come off as a kiss ass)

Regarding search sites: I do not want to take an hour skipping over ads just to search for a job
  • Wish I never looked at their site. I get multiple phone calls a day for education offers that I never marked as intrested in. I get hang up phone calls multiple times a day that I never used to get that trace back to possible Education offers.
  • How awful - serious job hunters are looking for work we do NOT have time for your survey's - it is cruel & false to say to us - we know of thousand of jobs in your area, but we will only tell you if you answer our survey - you stink!!
  • They are spamming me with several emails about several things and I never signed up for it via them or anything else. The emails randomly started coming in to my email address about a week ago. Even after unsubscribing nothing changes.
    • Same thing is happening to me. BEWARE! localjobsforall.com strikes me as a bunch of CRIMINALS! No way did I ever visit their site, yet they sold my information as if I gave them permission. localjobsforall.com apparently just picked up my info from the phone directory and sold it without my permission. I'm being solicited to death.

Even if they did offer any benefit to job hunters (which I doubt), don't go near them! If they're dishonest in one area, they cannot be trusted in any other area.
